dc.description.abstractThis is a portrait of John (Fire) Lame Deer a Lakota medicine man who was made famous from Richard Erdoes's book "Lame Deer Seeker of Visions" that was first published in 1972. The materials used were a variety of fountain pens as well as steel tip pen and white materials on Bristol board.
