dc.description.abstractThe images are intentionally ambiguous allowing the viewer to create their own story. Individual parts are emphasized and play a role in creating the complete piece. Layering the individual pieces onto one another help to create a sense of unity.
dc.description.abstractThe piece is inspired by a love for the textures and details of marine life, specifically fish. This was fueled by an icthyology course at the University of Wyoming, which contributed to a better understanding of the physiological features of fish.
